OrientPhone have taken the popular Note 3 body and have built a budget phablet based on Mediate’s MT6582 processor.
At one time building a low-cost phablet would have meant some serious cost cutting and compromises, but with the recent drop in prices and the launch of new low-cost SoC solutions, Chinese phone makers are able to product phones that were not possibly just months ago.
The OrientPhone N9006 is one such example. Running a 1.3Ghz MT6582 processor the N9006 has a 1280 x 720 HD 5.7-inch display 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal memory. There is also dual-SIM support, a Micros SD card sot, WIFI, 3G, GPS and 13 mega-pixel rear camera.
Pricing is $184.31 and the is is available in black or white versions.
