After launching POCO X2, the Chinese smartphone maker is now working on another smartphone, dubbed POCO F2. As per numerous leaks and rumors, the device is going to be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro in China. We now have yet another critical detail on the same shedding some light on battery charging and connectivity.
POCO F2 to Come with 30W Fast Charging Support
POCO F2 has just been certified by 'TUV Rheinland' with model number M2004J11G. As expected, the listing has revealed some key details along the way. We're looking at a device with 30W fast wired charging support. Furthermore, the device will also arrive with NFC support for connectivity. The Malaysia listing, on the other hand, also revealed the 5G connectivity support for the device.
Apart from these small yet key details, the certifications didn't reveal anything else about the device. Considering this is going to be a rebranded K30 Pro, we can easily speculate on what to expect. We're looking at a notch-less display design with a pop-up selfie camera. Under the hood, the device runs on Snapdragon 865 chipset featuring a quad-camera module on the back. The rear camera module might feature a 64MP primary sensor. Surprisingly, the device might come with a refresh rate of 60Hz which might disappoint fans.
In terms of memory configuration, the device could arrive in three options namely - 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. We're also looking at a four-color variant - White, Purple, Grey, and Blue.
Launch, Availability
As per the recent leak, the upcoming POCO F2 might see its official unveiling on May 12 in Madrid, Spain. The base variant of the phone could arrive with an RMB 2,999 ($423) while the middle config will set you back RMB 3,399 ($480). The top variant, on the other hand, will come with an RMB 3,699 ($531) price tag.
