Redmi 6 / 6A Global Version now getting MIUI 11 update

Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is still releasing the latest MIUI 11 update for its smartphones. As of now, many of its flagships and mid-range devices are already getting this update. However, the company is working on MIUI 11 for more devices. Today, MIUI India official Twitter handle announced that the MIUI V11.0.1.0 is now available for Redmi 6 while MIUI V11.0.4.0 is available for Redmi 6A. For Redmi 6 global update, click here. Redmi 6 uses a 5.45-inch 18: 9 high-definition full-screen display with a MediaTek Helio P22 processor. This smartphone comes with a simple design with a large top and bottom bezels. In the camera department, it has a 12MP + 5MP dual rear camera. The main camera uses 1.25μm large pixels. The larger the amount of light, the better it's shot in low-light environments. On the front, there is a 5MP camera that supports AI portrait mode and smart beauty.

The Redmi 6A comes with the MediaTek Helio A22 processor - the world's first smartphone to use this chip. At the same time, the MIUI system of the Redmi 6A comes with special optimization. This improves the performance by 30%. It uses a 13MP rear camera as well as a 5MP front camera that support AI portrait mode and smart beauty.
