Redmi K60 Pro uses the same flagship IMX800 sensor as Xiaomi 13
Chinese brand, Xiaomi, will hold a new product launch conference, the Redmi 2023 New Year Conference at 19:00 tomorrow night. At the event, the company will unveil a couple of devices but the Redmi K60 series will be the protagonist of the event. Over the past few weeks, there have been several reports regarding this new flagship series. Today, Redmi released a new set of renders revealing some details of the Redmi K60 series camera system. The renders reveal that the new Redmi flagship will use the IMX800 main camera + OIS. Also, this device will come with the Xiaomi Imaging Brain 2.0 and Snap Camera.
In addition, Lu Weibing said on Weibo that this time the Redmi K60 Pro lives up to high expectations. This device comes with the same flagship camera sensor as the Xiaomi 13, the Sony IMX800. It also inherits the Xiaomi Imaging Brain 2.0, which is an unreserved decentralization of Xiaomi’s core imaging capabilities. According to previous news, the Redmi K60 series includes three models: Redmi K60E, K60 and K60 Pro. These mobile phones will use the Dimensity 8200, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoCs.

The Redmi K60 series will come with a built-in 5500 mAh battery. In terms of fast charge, it will support 30W wireless and 67W wired charging. The high end model, Redmi K60 Pro will support 120W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging. The chip will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1.
Regarding the Redmi K60 series, popular Weibo leakster, @DCS reveals that it has three models. Of course, there will be the regular standard version, a Pro version and a gaming version. The Redmi K60 will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The Pro and gaming versions will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips respectively.
However, the leakster also reveals that this device will not launch until next year. Xiaomi's next-generation sub-series model is the Dimensity/Snapdragon dual platform with TSMC's 4nm process. He also reveals that the display has a center single punch-hole design. The flexible display supports 2K resolution and it also uses a 50-megapixel new outsole is used. It has two fast charging solutions for large batteries of 100 watts. Furthermore, this flagship series will also re-introduce the optical under-screen fingerprint sensor. In addition, the new phone uses "2K direct screens", and the K60 Pro uses 2K high-quality direct screens.
