Redmi Note 8, Note 8 Pro & Redmi 8 officially launched in India

According to recent reports, Redmi 8, Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro are now available for sale in India. The starting price for these devices is Rs 7999 ($112), Rs 9999 ($142) and Rs 14,999 ($210) respectively.

The Redmi 8 uses a 6.22-inch 1520 × 720 resolution waterdrop screen (Corning Gorilla Glass 5). Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 439 processor, a rear 12MP + 2MP dual camera, and a front 8MP camera. This smartphone comes with a 5000 mAh battery which supports 18W fast charge. Other features include USB Type-C interface, support face unlock, rear fingerprint unlock, infrared remote control, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch 1080P resolution waterdrop screen and has a 90% screen ratio. This one uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with 1217 ultra-linear speakers. It uses a 4000 mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. For cameras, we have a 48MP main camera on the rear in a quad-camera setup as well as a 13MP front shooter. It also uses a USB Type-C interface as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

As for the Note 8 Pro, it uses a 6.53-inch 3D four-curved glass body with a COF packaging process. On the front, there is a 20MP camera while the main rear sensor is 64MP (Samsung GW1 sensor).

In terms of configuration, this phone is equipped with Helio G90T processor, has 2 ARMCortex-A76 and 6 Cortex-A55, built-in 4500mAh battery, USB Type-C interface, and 3.5mm headphone jack. It supports 18W fast charge, multi-function NFC and Infrared remote control.
