Lu Weibing, Redmi's General Manager is convinced that the first Redmi flagship, which we will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform, will be able to stand out in the special AnTuTu ranking.
The General Manager of the Chinese brand has in fact picked up the challenge launched by Lin Bin, president and co-founder of Xiaomi, through a post on the Chinese social network Weibo. The Xiaomi executive showed an image relating to the current ranking of the best performing smartphones according to AnTuTu, which shows Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition and Xiaomi Mi 9 in the first two places, asking his colleague if he was ready to do better.
From a technical point of view, the new Redmi flagship seems to have all it takes to launch the challenge seriously. According to the latest rumors, in addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, we should find up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal memory.
The 4,000 mAh battery should guarantee amazing autonomy, given the reduced consumption of the chipset and the triple rear camera should guarantee high-quality shots. We just have to wait for official information on the launch date.
