A few hours ago, the dual-SIM variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with model number SM-N950F appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance with Android 8.0 Oreo on board, a pointer that the device might get the much needed Andriod Oreo update soonest.
This Galaxy Note 8 with Android Oreo listing is coming few days after Samsung initially started rolling out the Oreo update to the Galaxy S8 users, which was thereafter halted due to rebooting problems. While the company hasn't even hinted fans on when next the update will be resumed for the Galaxy S8 users, it won't be out of place seeing the update rolled out to the flagship Note 8 phablet.
While Samsung is yet to officially confirm when to expect the Android Oreo roll out for the Galaxy Note 8, we are however certain the rollout won't be delayed any longer as it has now passed the Wi-fi approval, which is a must for devices to get major software updates.
As for the Oreo roll out for the Galaxy S8 duo, reports have it that the company is preparing a new version of the Oreo update free of bugs which should be released soon, so we hope Galaxy Note 8 owners would have no course to worry over similar issues whenever the update begins.
