Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G gets a new certification

Last year, after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, we had the maiden release of a cheaper version. This cheaper version is the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition). Just like its last year's flagship series, the Galaxy S21 series will also have a Fan Edition. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes with the same configuration as the flagship model. However, this device will be cheaper than the flagship model. It is important to note that the Fan Edition has won the heart of global consumers with a very high cost to performance ratio.

According to the latest report, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has been approved by the Bluetooth SIG. This means that this smartphone will most likely launch anytime soon. According to speculations, this device will be official later this month. The Bluetooth SIG certification information indicates that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE models include "SM-G990N", "SM-G990B" and "SM-G990B_SD". There will be three models and all the models support Bluetooth 5.0.

Galaxy S21 FE TENAA specification

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has since made an appearance at the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The certification information shows that the front of this device comes with a center punch-hole camera design. However, the display will be a straight screen. This screen is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of FHD+. The display will support a 120Hz high refresh rate as well as an under-screen fingerprint sensor.

In terms of core configuration, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will use the top Snapdragon 888 processor. In addition, this device will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The expected models are 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. Furthermore, this device will pre-install the Android 11 system, and it will built-in 4370 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.

However, the rear of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will use a plastic build material. It will come with a triple rear camera setup which includes a 12MP wide-angle + 12MP ultra-wide-angle + 8MP telephoto lens. This smartphone will undoubtedly be a full-blooded flagship model with a small screen.

Previously, the US version of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a $699 starting price. In China, the starting price of this device is 3,999 yuan ($616). We can also see that this device did not upgrade much relative to the previous generation. Thus, we expect this device to retain the price tag of the previous generation.
