Siswoo C55 gets a few spec bumps, octacore chip and better camera

Siswoo have updated the specifications of their Siswoo C55 model compared to previously released details, making it an even more desirable $150 smartphone.

When originally announced the Siswoo C55 was marketed with a quad-core MT6735 chipset, and 8 mega-pixel main camera, but those specification have now been revised with and now included an updated processor and upgraded rear camera.

The C55 will now ship with an octacore MT6753 chipset, the same as the one found in the Meizu m2 note, it retains the original 2GB RAM, 16GB memory and 5 mega-pixel front camera, but boasts an upgrade in the rear camera department to a 13 mega-pixel sensor.

Siswoo have also pointed out that the original battery size of 4200mAh was actually a mistake as was text meant for another smartphone model. The good news is the Siswoo C55 does have a good size 3300mAh battery, which is just above today's average.

Pricing for the Siswoo C55 is $149.99 and the phone will be go on sale from 10th July.
