It seems that this new year begins with great perspectives for Sony, after its flagship model Sony Xperia XZ Premium was awarded the prize of "Best New Smartphone" at MWC 2017, one of the most prestigious awards of the exhibition.
Note that the award is given by the GSMA, a pan-European organization that hosts the annual Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and they host annual Global Mobile Awards or GloMo awarding the best tech companies in various categories.
The impressive Sony Xperia XZ Premium packs a dazzling 5,46'' display with 4K resolution, along with Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also boasts a 19 MP camera with 1/2.3” sensor size and Motion Eye technology for slow-mo videos in 960 fps. It's one of the four new models that were unveiled by Sony at the event, with the remaining 3 being: Xperia XZs, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra.
