Meox are one of the few Chinese phone companies which offer a phone with a curved display, while this is a nice party trick it doesn't really get the heart racing but what about this leaked 5.3 inch 1080 phone with 1920 x 1080 resolution?
It's easy to see that 2012 has been the year of the Chinese dual-core phone thanks to the Mediatek MT6577 CPU, well 2013 looks like the year of both Chinese quad-core phone and 1080 displays at affordable prices!
With the introduction of lower cost quad-core CPU's such as the MT6589, and the reduction in screen manufacturing costs, we are going to be seeing plenty of low-cost Chinese phones featuring 5 inch+ screens with resolutions of 1920 x 1080. Chinese brand Meox are hoping they'll one for the first manufacturers to launch an affordable 1080 quad-core phone, and judging by the appearance of these leaked photos they are nearing a production date!
According to sources close to the company the new Meox will go on sale "soon" and will come equipped with a pair of impressive cameras, with the rear being a 13 mega-pixel unit and the front 3 mega-pixel.
From these leaked photos, the new Meox phone arrears to have a similar, thin design to the Oppo Find 5, and what looks to be a very narrow bordered alloy face plate.
No news of price or a launch date, but expect to see more of this and similar phones in the coming weeks!
