T-Mobile Revvl 2 and Revvl 2 Plus Announced, Free Option Available

Known US mobile provider - T-Mobile - just unveiled two new handsets which replace last year's Revvl and Revvls Plus, both coming with the company's branding on top.

The first of two smartphones is an entry-level one, the likes of UMIDIGI, Vernee, Oukitel and whatnot, you can find for less than $100 (here's our list of the top 5).

The cheaper of the couple, the Revvl 2 does indeed pack MediaTek's MT6739 low-end CPU along with 2GB of ARM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable). We then have a relatively small 5.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. In the cameras department we find a 13MP rear camera, while on the front there's an 8MP selfie snapper.

The Revvl 2 is powered by a 3000mAh battery, it's IP52 water and dust resistant (why did they even bother?), it sports a face recognition system, rear fingerprint scanner and supports Cat.4 LTE connectivity.

The smartphone costs $168 on paper and it can be paid in a span of 24 months but, for a limited time, it can be gotten for free as long as you keep a plan for 24 months.

Moving onto the Revvl 2 Plus, the handset comes with a bigger 6-inch FHD+ plus and an undisclosed octa-core CPU (MTK Helio P23?) along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (also expandable). The Plus version gets a dual rear camera setup with a main 12MP sensor and 2MP secondary, at the front we instead have an 8MP snapper.

The Revvl 2 Plus comes with a bigger 4000mAh battery, supports Cat.6 LTE connectivity and runs Android 8.0 Oreo.

The bigger and more powerful handset does cost more at $252 or $10.50 for 24 months. If you're quick enough though, you can get it for $3.50 along with an internet plan, no free option here.
