Chinese tablet maker Teclast have launched their own iPad Mini inspired Android tablet boasting impressive power thanks to an Intel Atom CPU.

This year has seen more manufacturers looking at Intel Atom processors for their Android devices. The Lenovo K900 is a great example of a high-end phone based on an Intel processor, and ZTE have a more budget minded device on the market.

So, Intel powered Android phones aren’t new, but an Intel Atom touting tablet is!

The Teclast P89 is a 7.9-inch mini Android tablet which packs a 1024 x 769 resolution display, built-in GPS, 5 mega-pixel main camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean all in to a thin 7.2mm body.
