THL are one of the larger Android smartphone makers in China, and their flagship THL W8 is now available for international buyers to purchase online.
THL have been in the business of manufacturing high-quality, low-cost Android smartphones for the Chinese market now for a number of years. They have become so well-known that the company are now official OEM suppliers for many international brands and are looking to become a tier one manufacturer themselves.
The THL W8 is their current flagship Android smarpthone model and features everything you would expect from such a phone, including a powerful quad-core processor to 5-inch display, and high-resolution front and rear cameras.
In fact THL are one of the few brands of phone maker who have significantly updated the front facing camera on their flagship device as the THL W8 boasts a 5 mega-pixel front sensor!
For those of you how are less interested in self-portraits or video call quality, you will be happy to know the rear camera is a 13 mega-pixel unit with LED flash and HDR support.
Like many top of the range Android phones, the THL W8 set's aside a small area on the 5-inch display for use as a navigation bar, which is something I personally quite like. The only physical buttons are the 'home' button, power/lock button and volume rockers.
According to THL's specification sheets the THL W8 works on GSM 850/900/1800/1900mhz and WCDMA 850/2100, there is dual-sim support also plus all the standard Android language options.
