Chinese manufactures are just getting to grips with 4G LTE and the first few phones have started to roll off production lines. With so few phones with 4G LTE available now in China we have decided to create this list to include upcoming phones which have been confirmed to get LTE!

Below you will find the details of 10 4G LTE phones which are either available in China, launching soon or have been confirmed to get 4G LTE compatibility in the coming months!
Meizu MX4G
Highlights:
- U.S 4G LTE support: Yes.
- U.S Launch: Yes, later this year.
- Specifications: Other than 4G LTE nothing confirmed at this time.
- Other: 3 versions including a Mini MX4G.
2014 is looking to be Meizu’s year. The company have come back strong after the Chinese New Year with news of investments, a restructure of the company to make it more aggressive, and confirmed details that they will launch their next flagship phone in China, U.S and Europe!
The next generation Meizu MX4G likely won’t be launched until September, but already company executive Jack Wong is speaking loudly about his new baby, which will likely have a couple of younger brothers!
Apparently there could be a possibility of 3 4G LTE equipped new Meizu phones, and even a chance that the current Meizu MX3 will be updated with a Snapdragon 800 processor and also get 4G LTE compatibility. At this time though all we know is that the MX4G Pro, MX4G and MX4G Mini are in the works, but our sources say that at least one of the phones will be a Mediatek device aimed at the entry-level buyer for both China and abroad!

Oppo Find 7
Highlights:

- U.S Launch: Yes. International launch in March.
- Specifications: 5.5-inch 2K display, 4G LTE confirmed.
The much talked about Oppo Find 7 will launch in Beijing next month. The phone is confirmed to get 4G LTE support, a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 QHD display with a super tough coating and ultra sensitivity, but the rest of the hardware is unconfirmed. Recent news is that they will be 2 versions of the Oppo Find 7 the aforementioned 2K model and a mid-range version with a 1080p display (to replace the Find 5).
Rumours and leaks state the Oppo Find 7 will ship with Android 4.3, with the chance of a CyanogenMod version, 16 mega-pixel camera, Snapdragon 800-805 processor, 3GB RAM and a new faster charging solution.
One Plus One
Highlights:
- U.S 4G LTE support: Yes, 4G LTE bands 1/3/4/7/17/38/39/40/41 (no Sprint of Verizon support).
- U.S Launch: Yes, available online.
- Specifications: 4G LTE confirmed, custom CyanogenMod OS.
The One Plus One is the most mysterious phone on the list and although very few have seen it (myself included) we know very little about the hardware. What is confirmed is that the phone will have 4G LTE for the above 9 categories, we also know that OnePlus are committed to launching a phone which will be a no compromise device at a great price. We can’t say much more about the phone or design without spilling the beans, but the model we saw came in a bright colour, so colour options are a possibility.

Xiaomi Mi3S
Highlights:

- Specifications: Rumoured 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 800 CPU, 8 mega-pixel front camera.
The Xiaomi Mi3S is a phone that many of us China believe is coming, and coming very soon. Xiaomi are known for giving their flagship devices a mid-life upgrade (such as the Mi2 to MI2S update) and the Xiaomi Mi3 is about ready for one. The current Mi3 has a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB RAM 13 mega-pixel main camera, built in 3150mAh battery and MIUI V5 OS, the Xiaomi Mi3S will be more of the same with the additions of 4G LTE, 3GB RAM and a new 8 mega-pixel camera.

Huawei Ascend Mate 2

The Huawei Ascend Mate 2 is already confirmed and got it’s release earlier this year at CES. The larger phablet device sees a few updates over the original Mate which arrived last year including a redesigned body, addition of 4G LTE support and a few internal updates. Specifications include dual SIM support, Android 4.4 with Huawei’s own Emotion 2.0 UI, choice of either Huawei’s own HiSilicon processor or a Qualcomm MSM8928, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory, SD card 5 mega-pixel front camera and 13 mega-pixel rear with f2.0 aperture.

Huawei Ascend D3

The Huawei Ascend D3 will be Huawei’s first flagship phone for a very long time. Rumours say the device will mix the pure power for previous ‘D’ series phones with the elegance of the Ascend P6. Huawei are keeping details of the phone tightly under wraps, but from leaks we have leaned that the Huawei Ascend D3 will have a 1.8Ghz octacore processor using ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture, a 16 mega-pixel main camera, 4.9-inch 1080 display and measure just 6.3mm!

Nubia Z5S LTE

The Nubia Z5S LTE is the current flagship phone from ZTE’s premier phone brand here in China. From a design point the Z5S is very similar to the last generation Z5 (which is official available in the U.S), but the internals have see a vast update. The display on the Nubia Z5S LTE is a 5-inch 1080 model with a pixel density of 443ppi and 2.67mm bezels on either side. A rear 13 mega-pixel F2.0 camera has image stabilisation and a powerful 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 800 CPU and 2GB RAM run the show! The Chinese version of the Nubia Z5S LTE has up port for China’s TD-LTE Band 38/40 and FD-LTE Band 3, if the phone is launched stateside we should see more bands added.

Nubia Z5S Mini LTE

As the name suggests the Nubia Z5S Mini LTE is the smaller sibling of the 5-inch Z5S. The display is a smaller 4.7-inch 720p IGZO unit, there is micro SD card memory expansion, 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel rear, 5 mega-pixel front and 2300mAh battery.
Gionee Elife E7 LTE
Highlights
- U.S 4G LTE support: Unconfirmed.
- U.S Launch: Unknown, 40 countries in Latin America and Africa confirmed.
- Other: 16 mega-pixel camera, 2.5Ghz Snapdragon 800.
Gionee launched the flagship Elife E7 as a range topping smartphone with camera centric features. The phone is available in 3 version the top one getting 4G LTE and the 2.5Ghz Snapdragon 800 CPU. Other details include a very advanced 16 mega-pixel main camera, up to 32GB of storage built-in and a beautiful 5.5-inch 1080p display. The phone is impressive to say the least, but the 2500mAh battery is a real shame on such a beast of a phone!

Coolpad S6
Highlights:

- U.S Launch: Unknown.
- Other: $320 price tag.
Launched yesterday as one of China’s first low-cost 4G LTE smartphones, the Coolpad S6 could also make it’s way elsewhere as a mid range device. The phablet boasts a 5.95-inch 720p display, 1.2Ghz Qualcomm processor, 2800mAh battery, 13 mega-pixel rear camera and 2GB RAM. The CoolPad S6 will go on sale from the 24th of this month in China at just $320.
Honourable mentions
Phones which didn’t make the list purely because we don’t have enough info on them are the following;
- ZTE Grand Memo 2 LTE: will launch with a 6-inch display at MWC.
- Huawei Ascend P7: not sure about 4G LTE on this one but it could happen.
- Dakele L1: Launched for $250 in China, not likely to go on sale elsewhere.
- Vivo Xplay 3S: Delayed in China, and no news of a U.S launch.
