In the recent past, this came with more risk as you can easily brick your smartphone in the process. TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) is a tool developed by Android smartphone enthusiasts. The main feature of this tool is to give users a safe path to flashing the desired ROM with minimized risk.
Recently, TWRP has added support for eight new models including Sony, Nokia, Xiaomi, Moto, and Samsung. The specific models are as follows:

- Nokia 6.1
- Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite
- Xiaomi Mi 6X
- Moto G6
- Samsung Galaxy Ace 4
- Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra
