The little cousin of the OPPO N1, the N1 mini has been official for a while now, but the makers of the phone don't seem to have had talked enough about the device.
It's a mid-range smartphone with design elements from the 2013 giant, N1, including the USP that is the swivel camera. It's again a 13 mega-pixel sensor on the N1 mini, capable of some high-quality selfies besides the regular rear-camera shots. OPPO however teased the device yet again earlier today, touting the phone's Ultra-HD camera mode. The Ultra-HD mode can be found on the OPPO Find 7 as well, wherein it allows the user to take 50 mega-pixel shots from the 13 mega-pixel sensor via software extrapolation.

Shared on OPPO's India page, what do we make of this update? The OPPO N1 mini certainly didn't get to ride the momentum that the full-sized N1 created for some reason. It is possible that OPPO are looking to launch the device in a developing market like India, where they would hope to get a bit more love.
