More or less everything important has been already written and mulled over concerning the latest UMI Plus model, we had the chance to see videos about the design or even the romantic video with the chinese Natalie girl. So it's time for something else and let's take a look under the hood of the phone.
UMI have produced a video showing the very innards of the phone and if you take a look you would notice that the internal design is pretty compact and all the components are well placed and protected while they engineers pretty much limited the empty space or small moving parts.
There is also a copper foil on the internal side of the back cover to help with heat dissipation and metal plate on the back of the screen to protect the motherboard and delicate parts of the phone and add to the thermal optimization. UMI Plus uses the Aviation Magnalium (6000 Series) alloy for the back cover itself so it can withstand quite some abuse and mishandlings. Check out the video yourself to see the full teardown.
