Chinese phone maker Vernee is on the roll, after starting the full fledged campaign with Thor and teasing us with specs of the stacked Apollo model comes official announcement of the Vernee Apollo Lite.
Lite version usually means some watered down specs, but Apollo Lite will retain the Helio X20 chipset and main change is limited to only FHD 5.5-inch display, 4 GB RAM,32 GB of storage, only 16 Mpix back shooter of so far unknown origin a 5 Mpix front shooter.
Just as the more polished brother the Apollo Lite comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, USB-C connector and dual SIM or SIM +cmicroSD card setup. So the dual SIM/extra storage flexibility choice is not lost here either.
According to Vernee the Apollo Lite should hit the market somewhere in May and the price tag is set at very reasonable 199$. We already have one Apollo Lite prototype pic, which can be found somewhere around here.
