He further reveals that like the Xiaomi 12 Pro, this new Xiaomi flagship also uses a single-cell solution. However, the latter has a larger battery capacity and theoretically longer battery life. Recall that the Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with a 4600 mAh battery capacity. Since there is no other Xiaomi flagship in development, this upcoming device is most likely the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

As we all know, on the Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi equipped it with the Surge P1 charging chip. With the support of the Surge P1 chip, Xiaomi 12 Pro has achieved a 120W fast charge. The company claims that the Xiaomi Surge P1 allows a 120W single cell to charge in just seconds. For a full charge, the 4600 mAh battery on the Xiaomi 12 Pro gets it in just 18 minutes. Xiaomi claims that the 120W single-cell charging concept is the first in the industry. The company is also the first to unveil a 120W 5C graphene-based battery cell system. The Surge P1 chip increases the forward 1:1 mode bright screen charging efficiency. It also makes the forward 2:1 mode is compatible with multiple chargers.
