A few days ago, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, released the Xiaomi Mi 9 series which includes a cheap version of the Xiaomi Mi 9 dubbed Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. After the first official sale of the Xiaomi Mi 9 which lasted for only 53 seconds, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is set to hit the market at 10 am tomorrow. Xiaomi founder and CEO, Lei Jun, said that compared with the Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a small screen version and they both have 7 major similarities, as follows:
- Holographic illusion process
- Sony IMX586 48MP camera
- 20MP beauty front camera
- Fifth-generation on-screen fingerprint sensor
- Samsung AMOLED screen with the same resolution
- Multifunctional NFC with infrared remote control
- UFS 2.1 high-speed storage
The smartphone is a small screen flagship which uses a 5.97-inch display, officially it is the same size as a traditional 5.1-inch mobile phone which makes one-hand operation easy and without pressure.
The Xiaomi 9 SE launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 mobile platform coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In the camera department, the Xiaomi Mi 9SE comes with a 48MP wide-angle + 8MP telephote + 13MP super wide-angle camera's with a 3070 mAh battery. In terms of price, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE 6GB+64GB version is priced at 1999 yuan ($299), and the 6GB+128GB version is priced at 2,299 yuan ($344).
