Earlier this week we received a very odd phone, a Zopo ZP980 with a 1.5ghz quad-core MT6589 Turbo processor! Keep reading to see our hands on video plus some photo samples!

This week Chinese phone reseller DinoBulk sent us a Zopo ZP980 for us to review. We, and they, were under the impression that this phone was a standard 1.2Ghz MT6589 quad-core unit but it turns out it was not!

After running Antutu we found that the chip inside the review unit was in fact a 1.5Ghz MT6589T processor! The rest of the hardware is the same as the standard ZP980 including 1GB RAM, 5-inch FHD 1920 x1080 display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front, 2000mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

The phone is in fact the same as the white Zopo C2 which we are currently writing up a full review for, but we thought you guy’s would be interested in seeing the Turbo Zopo ZP980 in action.
