ZTE is one of the few companies that actually launched their flagship phone for 2019 here at the MWC of Barcelona. We were lucky enough to get an hands-on with the ZTE AXON 10 Pro, the first 5G connected device from the Chinese phone maker.

Let's start with the display, a large 6.47-inch panel using AMOLED technology and sporting Full HD+ resolution. Beneath it, we find an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The ZTE AXON 10 Pro is powered by 2019's flagship Snapdragon 855 CPU along with "just" 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (we were not informed whether that's upgradeable or not).

The smartphone sports three rear cameras, including a main 48MP sensor with f/1.8, a wide angle 20MP shooter and an 8MP telephoto camera. Meanwhile in the notch at the front, we find a 20MP selfie snapper.

Albeit not too thick at just 7.9mm, the ZTE AXON 10 Pro still manages to pack a nice and big 4000mAh capacity battery. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, plus it features what ZTE calls Axon Vision Graphics Optimization Technology and DTS Ultra.

Finally, ZTE's phone selling point - or at least it'd appear so - is 5G connectivity, including band N41, N78 and N79. As far as our opinion goes, the smartphone felt good in our hands but we didn't have a chance of testing it out due to the fact there was only one unit on display.
