OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite emerges in leaked images

As previously speculated, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is coming as a rebranded Realme V25. The V25 was launched in China, and as usual for this series, will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. However, its specifications are coming soon for global markets with a new OnePlus makeover. Today, tipster Yogesh Brar has shared a new render confirming the design of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite design and key specs confirmed

The design confirms several of the device's key elements, but the tipster also comes with a list of specifications. Since it's based on a Realme smartphone, the device will lack the alert slider which has been a tradition on the OnePlus smartphones. However, this is something that the regular OnePlus Nord CE 2 already lacks. Moreover, with this new "rebranding" strategy we believe that more and more smartphones will miss this feature. The upcoming OnePlus 10R will also lack an alert slider, and several reports suggest it's just a rebranded Realme GT Neo 3.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite packs a 6.58-inch LCD screen. It boasts a Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device will bring a fingerprint scanner that doubles as a power button. The tipster also confirms the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC under the hood. This is the same chip found inside recently released smartphones such as the POCO X4 Pro 5G. The 6 nm processor will come with up to 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage.

There will be a triple-camera setup with a main 64 MP camera, a 2 MP macro, and a 2 MP b&w sensor. For selfies and video calls, there will be a 16 MP snapper that sits inside a top-left punch-hole cutout. The phone, unfortunately, will run on Android 11 and will bring OxygenOS 11 on the top. Brar states that the Nord CE 2 Lite has a 5,000 mAh battery, but previous leaks have been pointing to a 4,500 mAh unit. The Realme V25 has a 5,000 mAh battery, and we'll stick with this capacity.

There is still no word on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite release, but we expect to see something this month. The company is also planning a OnePlus Nord 2T variant that is different from anything the BBK group has in the market.
