Cubot recently announced that they would be the hardware makers behind the Cheetah smartphone. So what will Cheetah bring to the table?
Cheetah Mobile make a few apps that claim to speed up your phone and clean up any junk in there. These apps (plus a few more) will make their way on to the latest Cubot smartphone along with a new UI.
We only have renders here (I didn’t get a chance to see the real phone at MWC), but from what we can see the UI on the phone is mostly left stock Android, with the App draw taking inspiration from Cyanogen.
The Cubot will run Android 6.0 out of the box, and Cheetah will offer users 10GB of free online storage with their cloud services.
Hardware specs the metal phone include a rear fingerprint scanner, 13 mega-pixel Samsung rear camera and LED flash, 8 mega-pixel front camera, 3GB RAM , and a Mediatek MT6753 chipset.
The phone will go on sale in Europe and Africa fro around 200 Euros.
