The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Elephone P8000 has been announced way back in May so the Elephone engineers really took their time. But well at least the dogs are out and running.
Seems like the firmware update is not yet OTA available and you have to download it manually. But i'm sure that's not a problem for our readers and you will be enjoying the Marshmallow benefits in no time. As usual it mostly brings improved app permission management, security features, energy saving mode, the "turbo download" mode and many more.
For better idea about the update you can check the official Elephone video below dedicated to the Marshmallow goodies. If that can convince you then the download link is here , but looking at the forum feedback it's actually a pretty raw update with non-functioning fingerprint sensor for example. Ah well better luck next time Elephone.
