Following the successful May release of the world's first sports phone with the CUBOT Quest line the chinese brand is returning once again to the entry-level waters. And they will enrich their portfolio with another piece belonging to the cheap J series with the CUBOT J7 model. This one is not aiming as high the Quest phones so what can you exactly expect from it ?
CUBOT J7 will be able to offer 5,7-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution (1440x720 pixels) and 18:9 aspect ratio, good old 3G-only Mediatek MT6580 quad-core processor with cores clocked at 1,3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 13MP+2MP dual rear camera with 0,5A LED flash, front 8MP selfie shooter, 2800 mAh battery capacity with 5V/1A charging through the usual microUSB port and of course the Android 9 Pie system. Pretty baseline specs in short.
The phone will be ideal for the really not-demanding users, elderly or maybe just as a backup phone. CUBOT J7 will be officially released in the end of May or early June and so far we don't have any real information about the estimated price. But the makers are promising to surprise us, so let's wait and see. You can find more information about the device on the official website.
