Oppo Find N2 Flip global variant passes by Geekbench

| by Marco Lancaster

Back in December, Oppo unveiled the Oppo Find N2 and the Find N2 Flip. The former serves as a sequel to the brand's first foldable, while the latter is an all-new phone with a clamshell design. Interestingly, the Oppo Find N2 Flip is the one escaping China to conquer the global markets. The foldable segment screams for new competitors across global markets, and Oppo is preparing the phone as a decent competitor for the likes of the Galaxy Z Flip4. Today, the global version of the phone was spotted in the Geekbench benchmark.

Oppo Find N2 Flip Global will be similar to the Chinese variant

We don't expect the Oppo Find N2 Flip to be much different from the Chinese version. Anyway, the Geekbench listing is here to confirm some facts. The smartphone passed by the popular benchmark website with model number CPH2437. Under the hood, the phone comes with a Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.2 GHz, three ARM Cortex-A710 at up to 2.85 GHz, and 4 x ARM Cortex-A510 cores clocked at up to 1.8 GHz. The phone also brings 8 GB of RAM, but other configurations are also possible.

The motherboard caries "k6983v1_64" id, and as per the report it could be the Dimensity 9000+. This will be a rare chance for global customers to experience MediaTek's top SoC of 2022. However, we are curious to see if the Oppo Find N2 Flip with this SoC will have the same popularity as Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phone. When it comes to the GPU, we know that this SoC has a Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. Well, the Chinese version has this chipset, so we can basically confirm it for the global variant.

If you were expecting the global Oppo Find N2 Flip with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, then you'll be disappointed. Anyway, this SoC is still very good. The Flip also boasts a 6.8-inch foldable screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 3.26-inch cover display. In terms of optics, the phone has a 50 MP main camera. It also has an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 32 MP selfie shooter. We don't know exactly when the new phone will debut in global markets. However, we should keep an eye on the MWC 2023.
