Qualcomm: smartphone market will recover only in H2 2023

It's not a secret that the market of consumer electronics that comprise a lot of products including mobile devices is experiencing a decline. There are a lot of factors to justify the decline. According to Qualcomm's Senior VP, the slow growth of most electronics markets is mainly due to inflation. He also states that Qualcomm needs to change to an Internet Company. It needs to promote other capabilities. The company wants to expand its presence in areas including PCs, virtual reality, and autonomous driving. The goal is to also make these areas a priority for its focus. Right now, the company gets the biggest part of the revenue from the sales of Snapdragon chips. That includes the mobile SoCs and the Snapdragon modems sold to several OEMs. With the decrease in this segment, the company will also suffer.
