Samsung has bold plans for the next few weeks. The company will introduce its new flagship series, the Galaxy S23 series pretty soon, but will also make a big move in the mid-range department. As per the leaks, the brand will begin a wave of smartphone launches with the launch of the Galaxy A34, and Galaxy A54. According to a new leak, the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G may tag along in the Indian market. Today, a 4G variant of the smartphone appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. The Galaxy A24 bears SM-A245F/DS model number and seems to be the 4G LTE variant.
We believe that Samsung may eventually launch a 5G variant, but for now, only the 4G specs have leaked. According to these leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G will pack a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen. Yes, Samsung is bringing AMOLED displays down to the A20 series. This is a good panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It's a big upgrade over the A23 which had a common LCD screen. Under the hood, some users may be disappointed with the choice of an Exynos 7904 SoC. This processor is quite old and was inside the Galaxy A40 and M30 of almost four years ago. Apparently, the CPU is the part where the brand is cutting corners.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A24 will pack a triple-camera array. The main camera is a 48 MP shooter with Optical Image Stabilization. The leaks also point to an 8 MP ultrawide and a 5 MP macro sensor. Honestly, that would be a good combination, considering the competition. Nowadays, brands are starting to ditch ultrawide sensors in the mid-range market. There are a lot of phones shipping with main cameras and macro or depth sensors. Having an ultrawide shooter is good since it expands the usability rather than being there just to make numbers. The phone will come with a decent 16 MP selfie snapper.
The exact design of the Samsung Galaxy A24 is still a mystery. But the rumors point to a dot-notch design for the display, which has been usual for the entry-level class. We expect the phone to run Android 13 with One UI 5.0 out of the box. Moreover, it will draw power from a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. Samsung is conservative when it comes to fast charging, so no surprises here.
We expect the Samsung Galaxy A24 to be released soon in India. More details will appear soon.
