Unlocked Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ now getting stable Android 10 in US

We can say that 2019 was a year full of changes in Samsung. First of all, the company has completely reinvented its midrange portfolio. Second, the company brought up a new software experience in the form of OneUI that ditches the ghost of TouchWiz. Now, it seems that the company has finally been putting some steroids on its development team. According to what we've been seeing during the past weeks, the firm is eager to close out 2019 with all its flagships under 2010. Interestingly, even the 2018 flagship Galaxy Note 9, started to Receive Android 10 stable update today. Now, the company is rolling out the stable OneUI 2.0 update for the unlocked variants of Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ in the United States.

Until the moment, the firmware was available for the Galaxy Note 10 smartphones on Verizon and T-Mobile. Despite the fact the unlocked units around the world started to receive an Android 10 update in the middle of December, the unlocked units in the US are receiving it only now. We know that there are just a few users in the United States who opt for an unlocked smartphone. However, it's a shame to see such a delay for these particular units. It's a bit ironic to see carrier units getting the update first.

Android 10 update brings a ton of improvements along with Samsung's OneUI 2.0. That includes a system-wide dark mode, better app reach and support for dimming the wallpaper. Moreover, there's a new Android 10-based gesture navigation and the latest December security patch is available. Last but not least, the update also adds the usual set of tweaks and fixes.

The Galaxy S9 is the last flagship in line for Android 10

Worth noting, that now there's just one flagship to receive the Android 10 update and it's the Galaxy S9 which has been running in the beta program as well.
