After a bit of a hiatus, Xiaomi gave their Mi Note series a bit of a revamp. For those new here, the Mi Note series from Xiaomi is the lineup of high-end phablets from the company. The new phone is known as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, let's take a quick look at the specifications.

According to Xiaomi, here's what the Mi Note 2 will sport in terms of specifications:

• 4GB and 6GB RAM variants
• 64GB and 128GB ROM variants

It turns out that rumours around the flexible display were true. However, unlike what some rumours may have suggested, you will still not be able to bend the display at home. We're still a few years away from that.

Mi Note 2 Global Edition

Coming back, the Mi Note 2 has a Global variant which supports a total of 22 LTE bands. The Mi Note 2 definitely has a very Samsung Galaxy Note7 aura about it, but Xiaomi will hope it doesn't have the same fate.

Here's the list of the 37 bands it'll support:

• WCDMA: 1/2/4/5/8

There's no clarity on what this exactly means; the Global Edition is probably what'll debut in the few other markets where Xiaomi directly operates besides China. Other than that, you can expect hoarders and resellers to have plenty stock of the Mi Note 2 Global Edition.

Mi Note 2 Pricing

The Mi Note 2 will have a total of three variants; 4GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and the 'Global' variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, but with added radio support.

• 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM: 2799 yuan ($413)
• 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM: 3299 yuan ($486)
• Global 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM: 3499 yuan ($516)
