Redmi Note 11T 5G to hit India with a Dimensity 810 SoC, pricing revealed

Xiaomi's Redmi Note series has reached the eleventh generation in China. The Chinese brand is expected to launch the smartphones composing this lineup across global markets soon including India. According to rumors, the Redmi Note 11 series could launch in global markets sporting Snapdragon chips, but that is yet to be confirmed. The first device of the Redmi Note 11 series to hit India will be the Redmi Note 11T 5G. The handset will work as a direct successor for the Redmi Note 10T 5G that launched earlier this year in the country as the first 5G smartphone from Redmi. Xiaomi has started teasing some of the key specs of the new handset. The latest teaser reveals a 6nm SoC.

The 6 nm architecture has been the leading technology for 2021 chips from MediaTek. The Taiwanese chipmaker uses TSMC's manufacturing process in a bunch of its chips released this year. The Dimensity 810 SoC is one of the latest mid-range chips from MediaTek with this process and that also offers 5G connectivity. This chipset is boasting the Chinese Redmi Note 11 5G. Redmi Note 11T 5G specs and pricing info

The Redmi Note 11T should be a rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G. Therefore, we can expect the handset to sport a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The display will have a centered punch-hole with a top center for the 16 MP front camera. The handset also has a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary camera and an 8 MP ultrawide snapper. The handset has a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast-charging support. The handset will run Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 straight out of the box. Of course, it is eligible for MIUI 13 update which may also bring Android 12 for the smartphone.

The rumors say that Xiaomi will launch three storage options for the handset in India. The base model with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of Internal Storage will be priced at INR 16,999 (~$228). There will also be a variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage that will cost INR 17,999. The high-tier variant will arrive with INR 19,999 price ($268)
